Computed Tomography (CT) |
| |
| Computed Tomography (CT) is a non-destructive evaluation technique for visualizing and inspecting the internal structure of objects. The output of the CT data acquisition and reconstruction process is the 3D volumetric density distribution of the object. Visualization tools enable viewing the volume from different perspectives. You can rotate the volume, zoom into an area of interest, slice the volume at any orientation (arbitrary sectioning), and measure density, distance, area, and volume. The data acquisition process also provides a complete set of digital radioscopic images that can be used for further analysis. |
