Automatic Defect Recognition

Post-processing of images, signal analysis, and pattern recognition techniques are used to conduct Automatic Defect Recognition (ADR).

ADR proprietary imaging software is used to evaluate analog and digital radiographic data without operator intervention. Regions of interest (ROI) are pre-programmed using acquired digital radiographic data. The software then analyzes each of the specified regions for defects and provides statistical process control data and may be configured to automatically alert quality process personel when non-conforming material or process deviations exceed programmed levels.
