Job
Description:
Create and modify mechanical systems and component drawings (concept, detailed design, fabrication, BOM)

Create and modify 2D and 3D SolidWorks and AutoCAD designs

Interact with sales team, assisting with system proposals and scope review (concept drawings, costing, etc.)

Interacting with a cross-disciplinary engineering team (mechanical, electrical, software, imaging) to review, define, and design x-ray industrial inspection systems to meet customer requirements.

Provide technical leadership (mentoring, design reviews, etc.) to the engineering organization
Essential Skills:
- Education equal to BSME or equivalent 3-5 years mechanical system design and engineering experience.
- Experience in designing electo-mechanical and/or material handling machinery and systems.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools (SolidWorks strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with motion control products and standard motor / gearbox components.
- Knowledge of pneumatic controls.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude and problem solving ability.
Non-Essential Skills:

Ethernet, networking fundamentals.

Some experience with machining disciplines and techniques desirable..

X-Ray imaing system experience a plus, not required.
