Helicopter Blades / Turbine Blades:

The real-time radioscopic machine (RTR x-ray) is primarily used for radioscopic inspection of helicopter rotor blades to detect cracks, delaminations, water intrusion, and other anomalies. Fuselage structures, propeller blades, and electronic assemblies are also inspected using real-time and near real-time x-ray inspection techniques.

Castings:

Radioscopic inspection is widely utilized to verify casting integrity and enhance manufacturing process control. Defects such as cavity, gas, inclusion, tearing, foreign material, and sponge can be found in castings quickly and objectively with the use of x-ray inspection technology. Today's systems can be integrated directly into the manufacturing process to allow fully automatic real-time x-ray inspection allowing pass/fail assessments without operator intervention.
